Khakassian Temir Khomus (Vargan, Jews Harp) "BIG" by Eugene Volgutov
Jew's harp wis soft reed, nice deep sound with wide spectre but limited speed possibilities. The mechanics of the reed have only one way to strike - otherwise, if you do not play only at the maximum volume, there are uncontrollable bursts, and a outwards stroke generates constant out-of-the-ordinary sounds
Handmade, material of the temir khomus is a steel. Size approx, mm: 95 x 35 x 4. This khomus is made by craftsman Eugene Volgutov.
Jew's harp wis soft reed, nice deep sound with wide spectre but limited speed possibilities. The mechanics of the reed have only one way to strike - otherwise, if you do not play only at the maximum volume, there are uncontrollable bursts, and a outwards stroke generates constant out-of-the-ordinary sounds. Low fundamental tone and many high-audible components form the characteristic "crackling" sound of the tone and give depth and volume. Soft long tongue and minimum clearances provide loud sound at the slightest touch. A frame shape provides high stability and resistance to deformation during the game.
