The variant of Jew's Harp presented here is called the Khomus (Vargan). This is a traditional music instrument of folks of Yakutiya and Altai (the territory of Russia). It is an essential part of natives' festivals and is often used in religious rites of Altay's shamans, i.e. pagan (shamans) priests. Handmade, material of the khomus - brass and steel.
